CLIMATE EDUCATION PROJECT

"You don’t just keep driving your car when you see a cliff ahead."

The Climate Education Project has created a live in-person presentation of the essential, factual information about global warming and climate change, given by a knowledgeable presenter using plain language and clear analogies. The Presentation is available to groups of all sizes and can be tailored to fit the available time and interests of each group. The only assumption we make is that all of us care more about our children and grandchildren than we can express, and we would do everything in our power to keep them safe from harm.
By addressing global warming and climate change, we have that power. There is still time to change the direction we're headed and avoid the cliff ahead, but we need to understand what is happening, and why, in order to see clearly how the choices we make now will profoundly affect the lives of all living things for thousands of years. Once we own that truth and take responsibility for it, we will choose to do everything we can to protect the future of those we love...and of life everywhere. The window of opportunity, however, is closing quickly. We are already experiencing significant consequences of global warming, and they will only become much worse for everyone. Now is the time to act. There is no more important work we can do.
Our mission is to clearly provide the essential, factual information about global warming and climate change that will enable each of us to help create the popular will and commitment needed to preserve and protect life on Earth.
“Human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the 20th Century....We find there is no convincing alternative explanation supported by the evidence.” ~2017 U.S. Global Change Research Program Climate Science Special Report (produced by thirteen U.S. government agencies)
